Pressured by Washington, the EU's leadership is ignoring the voices for lifting sanctions against Russia. These voices are growing, as regional politicians are showing their growing concern with the real efficiency of sanctions as well as the price for them. The French Parliament has just approved a resolution calling to end sanctions – but will Francois Hollande’s government choose to listen? And if France, a key member of the European Union, refuses to approve U.S.-led policy, will the rest of EU follow? How would Washington react to this kind of disobedience?
