日本の皆保険制度に比べ、米国の保険制度は後れていると思う人は多いだろう。しかし、彼らは国家には２つの選択しかないと言う。閉じた高福祉社会か、開かれた低福祉社会か。開かれた高福祉社会は、外国から人が押し寄せ、すぐ破綻する。米国は福祉より社会を開くことを優先するというのが彼らの論理。

Many people may think that the U.S. insurance system lags behind Japan's universal insurance system. But they say that the state has only two choices. A closed high-welfare society or an open low-welfare society? An open, high-welfare society will soon go bust with the influx of people from abroad. Their logic is that the US prioritizes opening up society over welfare.
