イギリスの中央銀行、イングランド銀行は2日、0.5％の大幅な利上げを発表しました。利上げは10回連続で、0.5％の金利の引き上げは前回・去年12月の会合に続く上げ幅となります。
イギリスでは去年12月の消費者物価指数が前の年の同じ月と比べて10.5％の上昇と高い伸びとなっていて、イングランド銀行としては、景気後退への懸念がある中でもインフレを抑え込む姿勢を鮮明にした形です。
