Victims of the Odessa fire massacre died within seconds, but not from smoke or carbon monoxide suffocation, the head of Odessa's emergency service department, Vladimir Bodelan, said on his Facebook page.

　事件後の調査によると、オデッサでの虐殺は10日前にキエフで開かれた会議で始まるという。

　議長は大統領代行を名乗るアレクサンドル・トゥルチノフ。そのほか、オリガルヒのアルセン・アバコフ内相、CIAの傀儡だというバレンティン・ナリバイチェンコSBU長官、そしてキエフのクーデターで現場の指揮官を務め、アメリカの特殊部隊と連絡を取り合っているというアンドレイ・パルビー国家安全保障国防会議議長。サッカーのフーリガンを利用するという案をだしたのはアバコフ内相だったという。また、オブザーバーとしてドニエプロペトロフスク市のイゴール・コロモイスキー市長も意見を求められたという。アメリカの傭兵を引き連れて乗り込んだという市長だ。

　事件の数日前になるとパルビーは数十着の防弾チョッキをオデッサのネオ・ナチへ運んでいる。その装具を受け取ったミコラ・ボルコフは虐殺の当日、労働組合会館へ向かって銃を発射、状況をキエフの何者かに報告する様子が映像に残っている。
