アメリカと北朝鮮の間で激しい言葉の応酬が続き、緊張が高まっていることについて、中国外務省の陸慷報道官は２６日の記者会見で「ひたすら言葉で虚勢を張り、互いを刺激するのは敵対のリスクを高め、みずからの政策の幅を狭めるだけだ。われわれはアメリカと北朝鮮の舌戦がエスカレートすることに反対する」と批判しました。
そして、「アメリカと北朝鮮の政治家は政治的判断力をしっかりと持って、武力は朝鮮半島の問題やみずからの懸念を解決する選択肢には絶対になりえないことを認識すべだ」と述べ、米朝双方に自制を求めました。
