北朝鮮の朝鮮労働党のキム・ヨンチョル副委員長をトップとする高位級代表団は、ピョンチャンオリンピックの閉会式に先立って、韓国のムン・ジェイン（文在寅）大統領と１時間にわたって会談し、韓国大統領府によりますと、この中で、北朝鮮側は「アメリカと対話をする十分な用意がある。南北関係と米朝関係は一緒に発展すべきだ」として、南北関係の改善とともに、アメリカとの対話に前向きな姿勢を示したということです。
